Yes, Ek Din is reportedly the official Hindi remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day. The story follows Meera (Sai Pallavi), who suffers from a rare form of temporary amnesia. Dinesh (Junaid Khan), a quiet and reserved man, harbours feelings for his colleague Meera but lacks the courage to confess. His long-awaited chance arrives during a company trip to Japan, setting the crux for an emotional journey.

Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi's Ek Din is struggling big time on its opening day. According to real-time data from Sacnilk, the film has managed to collect around ₹71 lakh net in India till 8:15 PM. Meanwhile, the gross (India) earnings have just crossed the ₹84 lakh mark.
