Ek Din Box Office Day 1: 98% Shows Of Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid's Film Cancelled Due To No Audience, Claims KRK
Ek Din Box Office Day 1 (Morning Trend): Ek Din has reached cinema screens across India, placing Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi at the centre of attention. The romantic drama becomes Sai Pallavi's first Hindi film and Junaid Khan's latest release after Maharaj and Loveyapa, making the project a key moment for both careers. Marking Sai Pallavi and Junaid's first collaboration, the movie presents Ek Din as a gentle office romance that shifts during travel. Junaid Khan plays Rohan, who has long hidden feelings for colleague Meera, portrayed by Sai Pallavi. Their routine changes completely when a work trip to Japan brings the two characters closer than before.

Ek Din takes its main storyline from the 2016 Thai film One Day, while tailoring details for Indian viewers. The cast features Kunal Kapoor, Kavin Dave, Aamir Khan, Ram Sampath and others, who appear as part of the workplace circle around Rohan and Meera in the narrative. Ek Din is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Mansoor Khan, Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. With the film now running in theatres, there have been speculations about Ek Din's box office performance. However, the recent update came as a major shock for the makers.

Ek Din Box Office Collection Day 1 (Morning Trend)
To note, Ek Din witnessed a disastrously slow start on the opening day failed to touch even Rs 20 lakhs. In fact, the movie earned Rs 13 lakhs from morning shows until 12:30pm
Meanwhile, talking about choosing Bollywood remake of Thai film One Day for his son Junaid, Aamir told Hollywood Reporter India, "Actually, it has nothing to do with Junaid. You must understand that Ghajini was also a remake. So, I have nothing against remakes. So, I personally feel that when you come across a material that really excites you, touches you, moves you, it's been made in another part of the world in another language. I'd like our audience to also experience that same feeling, and the story that touched me, I want to share it with them in the language that we understand. That essentially is a remake. So, I've never had problems doing remakes for the last 38 years, and I don't think I'll have a problem doing remakes going ahead as well"
