Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collection Day 1: Ayushmann's Film Mints Less Than Half Of Pati Patni Aur Woh
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collection Day 1: Released on 15 May 2026, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do had arrived in cinemas as a light-hearted romantic comedy filled with confusion, humor, and relationship drama. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film served as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The performances of the lead cast had received praise for their comic timing and entertaining chemistry. Audiences especially appreciated Ayushmann Khurrana's natural acting and Sara Ali Khan's energetic screen presence.

For the uninitiated, the story of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do had followed Prajapati Pandey (played by Ayushmann Khurrana), a simple married man whose peaceful life turned upside down after a series of misunderstandings involving two women. What began as a harmless situation soon created emotional confusion, suspicion, and comic chaos. Set in Prayagraj, the film had blended family drama with witty humor and modern relationship issues. To note, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do marks Ayushmann's first collaboration with Sara and Wamiqa while it is his second project with Rakul after the 2022 release Doctor G. With catchy music, colorful visuals, and funny dialogues, the film had managed to entertain viewers while offering a fresh twist on modern love and marriage. While Pati Patni Aur Woh opened to mixed reviews, it saw a slow start at the box office.

Meanwhile, talking about Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Ayushmann told India Today that the movie is not promoting infidelity. He stated, "Women in the film have the most agency. I am the chosen sufferer. It's not mere tokenism either. All three women are alphas in their own way. Rakul's character is probably a proper alpha. That's the beauty of the film - it's not male-centric. The characters and roles are equally divided. And the climax brings everyone together. You have to see it to believe it. We are not glorifying cheating. It's not about infidelity; it's a comedy of errors".
