According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do witnessed a slow start and recorded an occupancy of 5.38% during morning shows on day 1. To note, the movie has failed to beat the morning shows footfall of Pati Patni Aur Woh which happened to be around 9-10%

With a footfall of 5.38%, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do was seen struggling to touch Rs 1cr from morning shows. To note, the movie minted Rs 63 lakhs from morning shows until 1pm.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann, in a conversation with India Today, opened up about the comparison between Pati Patni Aur Woh Do with that of Sanjeev Kumar and Kartik Aaryan starrer Pati Patni Aur Wo which came out in 1978 and 2019 respectively. He stated, "It's not really a comparison. We are simply taking it forward. This is like a pati universe. We have spy universes and horror universes, but more than 40 crore husbands in India don't have a universe of their own. We are just building that universe further. The film is immensely funny and entertaining, and I'm excited for audiences to experience it together because it's a community watch".
