As per the ongoing trend, Peddi, which had earned Rs 13.3cr in 5 days in the Hindi belt, is expected have a steady hold at the box office today (day 6/ first Tuesday). The movie is expected to mint Rs 1.5cr in the Hindi belt and will be crossing Rs 15cr in 6 days

Peddi vs Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Today Collection

Interestingly, Peddi has been facing competition with Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in the Hindi region. While the latter is also witnessing frequent dip in numbers, Peddi will fail to beat Varun starrer at the box office today. This is evident that while Peddi had earned Rs 13 lakhs from morning shows until 1pm, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai had earned over Rs 75lakhs during morning shows.

Meanwhile, during an event, director Buchi Babu Sana lauded Peddi lead actress Janhvi Kapoor and asserted, "We are all huge admirers of your mother, Sridevi garu. Janhvi has played Achayamma beautifully, and hers is one of the most important roles in the film. Her performance in the climax is outstanding. There is a strong sense of heroism in her character, and I am grateful that she became part of this journey".
