Raja Shivaji Box Office Day 1 (Morning Trend): Raja Shivaji, a historical action drama directed by Riteish Deshmukh, is now in cinemas and drawing strong attention. The film follows the life of Shivaji, founder of the Maratha Empire, and its trailer has already generated wide buzz among viewers and trade analysts. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raja Shivaji recorded an occupancy of 12.54% in the Hindi market. Interestingly, it has managed to beat Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer Ek Din's morning occupancy which happens to be 9.62% on day 1.

To note, Raja Shivaji made a collection of Rs 1.90cr (including Rs 0.32cr in Hindi market and Rs 1.58cr in Marathi market). Interestingly, Raja Shivaji minted over twice of Ek Din's morning collection which was Rs 13 lakhs.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal has been all praises for Raja Shivaji lately and extended wishes to the team. He stated, "I don't think Marathi cinema has seen an action sequence like this".
