In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat's Ranpreet, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that The Great Grand Superhero - Aliens Ka Aagman will be witnessing a slow start at the box office and will make an opening day collection of less than Rs 20 lakhs. In fact, the movie recorded a morning occupancy of 3.69% and made a collection of Rs 1 lakhs from morning shows until 12:30pm.

Interestingly, The Great Grand Superhero - Aliens Ka Aagman has been facing comparisons with Hrithik Roshan's Krrish owing to similar genre. However, if the prediction turned out to be true, The Great Grand Superhero - Aliens Ka Aagman will fail to beat Krrish which made a collection of Rs 5.9cr on its opening day.

Meanwhile, talking about doing a superhero film, Jackie told PTI, "Children's films are hardly made today and if there are films that are about them, their dreams, innocence then I love to explore that. We don't get to see all of that in movies otherwise. I do all kinds of films, but this genre is close to my heart because there's a child in all of us".
