Is The Kerala Story 2 HIT or a FLOP?
The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond showed a gradual build, with collections rising after opening day and later stabilising. Week 1 outperformed Week 2, performing better due to the early buzz.
The Kerala Story 2 is made on a budget of Rs 30 crore; although it has recovered its budget, the film needs to hit the Rs 50-crore mark if the makers want to earn the tag of a HIT film. With Dhurandhar 2 releasing next week, the dream looks difficult to achieve.
Although the Aditi Bhatia and Ulka Gupta-starrer is not a flop, it has not earned enough numbers to be called a hit film. It is still an average grosser at the box office.
