How Many Tickets Welcome To The Jungle Sold? Day 1 Advance Booking Collection
As per Sacnilk’s final estimates for day 1 advance booking, the Hindi comedy has collected Rs 2.34 crore gross across India before release, excluding blocked seats. The figure comes from 92,646 tickets sold across 11,202 shows.
The opening numbers suggest a steady but not explosive start for the film. However, the final day 1 trend will still depend heavily on spot bookings, walk-ins and how the audience responds once the first shows are out.
Welcome To The Jungle advance booking day 1 numbers
| Format | Tickets | Shows | Gross |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hindi 2D | 92,644 | 11,201 | Rs 2.34 crore |
| Dolby Cine | 2 | 1 | Rs 800 |
| All-India total | 92,646 | 11,202 | Rs 2,34,49,680 |
| Blocked seats | - | - | Rs 5.47 crore including blocked seats |
The blocked-seat total takes the day 1 advance booking gross to Rs 5.47 crore. Blocked seats are not the same as confirmed paid sales, so the Rs 2.34 crore figure remains the cleaner indicator of current demand.
With the film now heading into release, attention will shift to how the early shows perform in major cities. The reviews of Welcome To The Jungle have been mixed. While Akshay Kumar's performance has been appreciated, the critics have pointed out that the film is married with a weak storyline and too many cameos.
Describing Akshay's performance in Welcome 3, Filmibeat critic Aakash Kumar wrote, "One of the film's biggest strengths is its cast. Akshay Kumar emerges as the backbone of the movie and does his best to keep the entertainment alive. His comic timing remains one of the highlights, and he shoulders much of the film's responsibility."
Welcome To The Jungle, which has been helmed by Ahmed Khan, stars Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon and Lara Dutta.
Khiladi Kumar promised a spectacle at the box office, and it remains to be seen whether he is able to replicate the magic of Welcome or not. His last year, Bhooth Bangla, performed well in terms of numbers.
