Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle is mounted on a grand scale, blending slapstick comedy, action, and nostalgia with an impressive star-studded cast. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, and several other popular actors.

In an interaction with Filmibeat's Aakash Kumar, trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal revealed that the film has been produced on an estimated budget of around ₹225 cr.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that JioHotstar has acquired the film's post-theatrical streaming rights. If true, the comedy entertainer will make its OTT debut on the platform after completing its run in cinemas. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the digital release details.

Welcome To The Jungle Opening Day Collection Early Trend (Day 1)

Before its official release, Welcome To The Jungle held paid preview shows on Thursday, earning an estimated ₹3.75 cr, according to Sacnilk.

As per Sacnilk's live box office data, the Akshay Kumar starrer has collected approximately ₹9.01 cr on its opening day till 7:00 PM. This takes Welcome To The Jungle's total India gross collection to ₹15.13 cr, while its total India net collection stands at ₹12.76 cr so far.
