Cannes 2014

This was Aishwarya's best Cannes look to date. The Ponnyin Selvan actress was criticised for her pregnancy weight, but she shut down her haters when she wore a gold mermaid fishtail dress from Roberto Cavalli. She outshone everyone else in the strapless dress, curled hairdo, and bright red lips.

Cannes 2017

At the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made the fashion police go speechless with her remarkable sartorial statement. Her Cinderella-esque couture gown by Michael Cinco was the talk of the town. The blue off-shoulder, voluminous princess ball gown featuring a plunging neckline and intricate embellishments made her look dreamy. We love this look!

Cannes 2018

Aishwarya once again proved that she is the ultimate red carpet queen at the 17th edition of the prestigious film festival. She mesmerised her fans with her stunning shimmery silver strapless outfit from Rami Kadi Couture. The outfit featured a pleated and embellished train, and a metallic texture boasted the diva's curves.

Cannes 2004

One of Aishwarya's most heavily criticised looks was her 2004 red carpet look, when she wore a cutout gown designed by Neeta Lulla. It still remains her worst Cannes look ever! It was her first red carpet appearance as L'Oreal's brand ambassador that year, and Aishwarya opted for a Neeta Lulla risque shimmery gown that was unflattering for her figure.

Cannes 2010

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the 2010 Cannes Film Festival with her husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and her Raavan co-stars. At the premiere of the movie, she wore a netted, embroidered gold shimmery saree from Sabyasachi Mukerjee. Though we love the saree and the intricate, detailed embroidery done on it, the look was a miss as her makeup just destroyed the look of the saree. Her hair, which was tightly pulled back, appeared to be in pain.

Cannes 2022

The seasoned Cannes red carpet stunner walked the 75th Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a black gown with 3D colourful flowers on one sleeve. She wore the ensemble for Tom Cruise's Top Gun : Maverick screening. The Dolce and Gabbana outfit was nay for us. Though her makeup was on point, the outfit looked really unimpressive.
