Cannes Film Festival 2024: Meryl Streep has been the centre of attention ever since it was announced that the iconic Hollywood superstar is going to receive the honorary Palme d'Or this year at 77th Cannes Film Festival. Ahead of the event, the Oscar-winning star turned up looking uber chic.

Meryl Streep turned up as a boss lady on the very first day of Cannes Film Festival. Meryl kept her look minimal and wore a white outfit featuring white cigarette pants that she paired up with white and blue vertical striped shirt. Lastly, she layered her outfit with a chic white open front blazer that added the edgy element to the outfit.
For accessories, Meryl kept it quite engaging! The veteran wore a pair of silver pointy stilettos, a pair of silver hoop earrings, and a pair of black Prada sunglasses. However, among all of these, it was the panama hat that grabbed all the attention and made the whole outfit an unique turn. For makeup, she kept it simple with a hint of pink gloss on lips and a hint of blush on cheeks.

Meryl will be taking the centre stage at Grand Theatre Lumiere as she is going to recieve the honorary Palme d'Or. "I am immeasurably honored to receive the news of this prestigious award. To win a prize at Cannes, for the international community of artists, has always represented the highest achievement in the art of filmmaking. To stand in the shadow of those who have previously been honored is humbling and thrilling in equal part. I so look forward to coming to France to thank everyone in person this May," Meryl said in a recent statement.
