The American singer and rapper appeared at the event wrapping herself up in a white bath towel. She also left the hotel premises to attend the gala wearing the towel coupled it with a headwrap and a diamond necklace. However, that was not it, she appeared at the event in a towel only to unveil her 'actual' dress which is a semi-transparent wet attire. She posed in front of the cameramen with one arm on her chest and another arm pulling up the attire to avoid getting into the floors. Her look further featured tear-soaked makeup with black bold winged eyeliner and nude ombre lipstick.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight, the Billboard Hot 100 Chart Topper elaborated how her drenched floor-length t-shirt dress aligned with the theme 'The Garden of Time', "I know that people are going to do flowers, but my flower of choice is the most-used flower - and it's cotton," she said. "I wanted to do a white T-shirt, also because a white T-shirt is timeless. And it felt very poetic to choose this. I knew it wasn't going to blend in too much, and I don't really like to blend in."
