Sabyasachi X Balenciaga: Indian designer Sabyasachi is the most praised Indian designer and he has made his name not only in India but also in overseas. When it comes to bridalwear, from affluent commoners to celebrities, they can't think anything apart from Sabyasachi lehenga or saree. The designer has made his significant mark in foreign lands like New York apart from stores in Calcutta, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai. A post by Instagram account, Diet Sabya, online fashion critic, shared a post with Sabyasachi's picture from Met Gala 2024 with a caption, "Breaking: Sabya to be named new creative director at Balenciaga. First collection in fall!" The post spread like a wildfire among the fans of the designer. However, while many believed it, others claimed it to be a 'April Fool's post'.

One wrote, "DS, leave the April fool's jokes to Netflix and Prime socials," Another wrote, "APRIL FOOL BANAYA, BADA MAZZA AAYA." One user wrote, "I can't believe I reshared on my stories for 2 seconds." One commented, "jumped out of bed just to realise that it's april first today," one wrote, "Omg the comments saved me! I was going to send this to all my fashion friends! 🤣"

While many fans initially believed it, later everyone realized that it is an April Fool's day post. All we can conclude that Sabyasachi is not going to replace Demna Gvasalia, the current creative director of Balenciaga, but the designer will continue to rule the heart of fashion-geeks.
