Shivya Pathania’s Premiere Look Had A Special Story Behind It
For the premiere of her upcoming show Spectra, Shivya Pathania chose to make a meaningful fashion statement by collaborating with budding designer Santosh Tanti from Patna, Bihar.

Instead of opting for an established celebrity designer, Shivya discovered Santosh Tanti through Instagram while searching for fresh artistic talent that resonated with the theme of Spectra - a show centred around artists and creativity.
The custom-made outfit featured hand-painted elements inspired by the works of Raja Ravi Varma, with every detail conceptualised and created by the young designer himself.
"I wanted to wear something with purpose because Spectra itself is about artists and their journeys,i also have to mention that Santoshs father Ramdev Tanti, used to sell Pani Puri and he could not go to NIFT owing to financial distress but he still managed to do a year of diploma in fashion and all that he does is on his own from the designing to the stiching, a cery simple boy and am so proud of him i would do anything to promote his work in my capacity."
Shivya shared.
Interestingly, the outfit almost didn't make it to the premiere on time due to delivery delays. The ensemble reached Mumbai just hours before the event, making the moment even more emotional for the actor-host.
By choosing to collaborate with an emerging designer, Shivya hopes more platforms and celebrities support young talent across India and give them the visibility they deserve.
