On
Monday
night,
Amrita
Arora
was
in
for
a
rude
shock
when
she
went
out
for
dinner
with
older
sister,
Malaika
Arora
Khan.
When
they
returned
to
the
car
after
their
meal,
they
discovered
that
Amu's
Hyundai
Tucson
had
been
broken
into.
Says
a
tearful
Amrita,
"I
don't
know
what
they
were
planning
to
rob.
Fortunately,
I
hadn't
left
cash
or
any
valuables
like
my
cell
phone
or
jewellery
behind,
which
I
usually
do."
Smash

Recalling
the
incident,
Amu
says,
"After
a
photo-shoot
for
a
magazine,
Malli
(Mallika)
and
I
were
having
dinner
at
Seijo's
in
Bandra
when
we
heard
a
commotion
outside.
Our
driver,
Ram
Pandey,
had
parked
it
in
the
gully
and
gone
for
dinner.
When
he
came
back,
he
saw
that
the
back
of
our
car
had
been
smashed
and
broken
into.
The
glass
windows
were
totally
smashed.
My
suitcase
of
clothes,
make-up
box
and
icebox
had
been
opened
and
stuff
was
strewn
around
but
nothing
was
stolen.
I
think
they
must
have
been
frightened
off
when
people
realised
what
they
were
upto."
Has
she
filed
a
police
complaint?
"No.
The
car's
been
insured
but
my
dad
said
our
car
dealers
will
repair
our
car
at
their
Reay
Road
workshop.
Right
now,
it's
undergoing
repairs
there," rues
Amrita.
