Not many might know this but John Abraham's Iranian name is Farhan. John's mother is Farsi (Iranian) and at birth the Iranian name Farhan was bestowed on him. However, his father being a Syrian Catholic, he came to be called John.

Currently the actor is busy promoting his next film 'Taxi No 9211'. Just today morning John flew to Dubai to attend the huge premiere of 'Taxi No.9211' being held there.
