The
Garam
Masala
girl
who
is
bound
to
stop
all
traffic
when
her
Traffic
Signal
arrives
this
December
is
in
thick
action
these
days.
If
one
thought
that
the
delay
in
the
shooting
of
Madhur
Bhandarkar's
Traffic
Signal
has
made
her
twiddle
her
thumbs
at
home
then
that's
far
from
true.
That's
because
the
young
woman
would
be
seen
soon
on
the
small
screen.
Is
it
yet
another
advertisement,
we
quiz
her?
"No,
it's
not.
In
fact
I
am
not
keen
on
advertisements
and
am
interested
only
if
any
endorsements
come
my
way!",
she
says
with
a
matter
of
fact.
So
what's
keeping
her
busy
then?
"You
would
be
seeing
me
soon
on
the
small
screen
in
one
of
the
biggest
music
video
ever
made
that
costs
around
65
lakhs.
It
is
for
the
debut
non-film
solo
album
of
Shreya
Ghoshal
for
which
I
am
the
leading
lady",
she
says
rather
excitedly.
So
what
is
it
about?
"It
is
a
song
titled
'Behka
Behka
Kaisa
Hai
Samaa'
for
which
the
entire
setup
has
been
given
a
Dravidian
look.
In
fact
you
would
see
me
on
the
lines
of
Aishwarya
Rai
as
she
was
in
Devdas",
she
replies.
Interested,
we
ask
her
further
about
this
project.
"See,
this
video
has
four
very
huge
people
involved.
While
Shreya
Ghoshal
is
a
singer
to
reckon
with,
the
video
is
directed
by
Madhur
Sarkar
who
is
Pradeep
Sarkar's
[of
Parineeta
fame]
sister.
Binod
Pradhan
is
the
cinematographer
while
Nitin
Desai
[who
has
also
erected
the
sets
for
Traffic
Signal]
is
the
man
behind
the
sets",
she
explains.
What's
the
theme
of
the
video
then
considering
such
reputed
names
are
involved?
She
replies,
"The
album
is
titled
Kamasutra
-
The
Music
of
Love
but
let
me
add
that
the
video
has
been
shot
in
a
very
classy
manner.
There
is
no
skin
show
involved
at
all.
In
fact
let
me
also
add
that
I
was
required
to
put
on
5-10
kgs
to
appear
as
the
character
that
I
was
required
to
play!"
So
when
do
we
see
the
video
on
screen?
"You
know
the
video
is
in
fact
ready
but
the
plans
are
to
release
it
only
after
the
'shraddh'
period
is
through.
No
wonder
I
am
highly
excited
about
this
video
and
looking
forward
for
people's
reaction!
On
asked
about
the
way
her
film
career
was
shaping
up,
this
is
what
she
had
to
say.
"Well,
I
am
quite
happy
professionally
because
though
number
of
offers
are
coming
my
way,
I
am
still
waiting
for
Traffic
Signal
to
release
first
before
I
sign
any
of
them.
I
am
in
no
haste
for
being
a
part
of
films
in
which
I
don't
believe
and
later
regret
being
a
part
of
that
setup.
I
am
taking
a
slow
and
steady
approach
and
I
am
sure
if
God
is
with
me,
it
would
work
for
me".
