RGV
may
be
down
with
successive
flops
in
the
form
of
My
Wife's
Murder,
James,
Mr
Ya
Miss
and
most
recently
Darna
Zaroori
Hai
but
he
is
certainly
not
out!
While
his
Nishabd
is
now
in
post
production
and
he
has
confirmed
plans
for
his
version
of
Sholay,
his
proteges
continue
to
churn
films
for
his
production
house.
This
time
it's
the
turn
of
his
D
director
Vishram
Sawant
who
has
finished
a
film
called
Risk
which
is
now
ready
for
release.
Just
like
D,
Risk
too
stars
Randeep
Hooda
in
the
central
role
though
the
character
he
plays
this
time
around
is
poles
apart.
While
in
D
he
played
the
role
of
a
don,
in
Risk
he
is
on
the
other
side
of
the
law
as
he
plays
a
righteous
police
officer.
He
may
not
be
flamboyant
but
his
resolve
his
strong.
He
may
not
come
across
as
a
powerful
man
but
his
confidence
speaks
for
himself.
He
may
not
be
one
of
your
on-the-face
heroes
but
when
it
comes
to
taking
on
criminals,
he
catches
them
by
their
collar.
He
is
the
man
in
'khaki'.
Isn't
that
a
Risk?
But
he
believes
that
life
is
all
about
taking
Risks,
albeit
calculated
ones!
Welcome
to
the
world
of
RGV
where
both
evil
and
good
co-exist
and
it's
just
a
matter
of
choices.
The
crisp
promo
of
the
film
introduces
the
character
of
cop
enacted
by
Randeep
Hooda
who
looks
like
any
other
cop
seen
in
your
neighborhood
police
station
with
none
of
the
flamboyance
or
on-your-face
style
associated
with
him.
As
he
takes
on
the
criminals,
the
other
major
character
of
the
film
is
introduced!
While
not
much
of
him
is
seen
in
his
earlier
shots
except
for
a
white
Indian
outfit,
the
shocker
comes
in
the
form
of
a
face
that
has
entertained
Bollywood
lovers
for
decades
and
makes
a
comeback
of
sorts
with
Risk.
With
a
beard
on,
he
looks
like
he
has
never
before.
As
the
curiosity
builds
up,
the
face
is
revealed
and
the
man
turns
out
to
be
none
other
than
Vinod
Khanna!
A
clash
of
two
powerful
personalities
in
the
form
of
Randeep
Hooda
and
Vinod
Khanna,
relief
comes
in
the
form
of
Tanushree
Dutta
who
gyrates
to
the
'desi'
beats
in
ethnic
Maharashtrian
outfits
and
dances
to
'Beat
1-Beat
2'
sort
of
music.
With
rest
of
the
shots
resembling
a
true
blue
FACTORY
product
as
stock
actors
from
the
RGV
stable
are
seen
on
screen,
you
know
that
Risk
is
going
to
be
yet
another
hard
hitting
outing
from
the
film
maker.
In
the
end
comes
a
defining
shot
as
a
revolver
is
shown
pierced
in
Randeep's
abdomen
at
a
point
blank
range!
A
film
that
is
important
for
everyone
from
Randeep
Hooda
to
Vishram
Sawant
to
Ram
Gopal
Verma,
Risk
is
most
awaited
for
those
who
have
been
waiting
to
witness
the
return
of
Vinod
Khanna,
who
was
last
seen
in
Bobby
Deol
starrer
Kranti
4
years
back.
