Spring of Hope is a tale of two lovers who first felt the sparks of love in a college. The two are innocently looking forward for their own Spring of Hope but unfortunately these hopes are soon shattered by the political crisis which spans the next decades in the country.
Despair replaces their hope and anguish, disillusionment and disappointment overcomes their youthful dreams which reflect the actual anguish and misery the Afghan people have suffered.
The trailer looks promising with ample doses of love and war. The beautiful locales of Afghanistan are magnificently captured on camera and war definitely couldn't kill its natural beauty.
Written, produced, directed and starring Hashmatullah Khan, this film was selected at many international festivals including Locarno Film Festival.
