Tanushree talks about Akki

Tanushree Dutta is back on the filmi radar. The actress is sizzling in the promos of Priyadarshan's Bhagam Bhag, which are presently on air.

Tanushree has danced to the song Pyar ka signal with Akshay Kumar and Govinda and it's already becoming something of a chartbuster. She tells us about her heroes and her take on Chi Chi and Akki.

First meeting with Akshay and Govinda
I was shooting in Film City for the song and I was unusually quiet. It was my first day with Priyan, working with Akshay and Govinda and a new production house. I was quite intimidated as it takes me time to open up. The next day, both Akshay and Govinda broke the ice and I was my normal chatty self.

Her take on Akshay and Govinda
It's so much fun to work with both of them. They are superb actors with great comic timing. I would burst out in laughter every time I watched them perform.

They are very humble and down to earth. In spite of being senior actors, they were very patient with me. I had a lot of difficulty matching steps with them in Pyar Ka Signal, as they are brilliant dancers.

They are also very quick in picking up steps and the nuances in scenes. I though I would end up a very nervous wreck trying to keep pace with them, but they were very nice to me. In fact, Govinda even helped me with my comic lines in the scenes.

Her favourite Akshay and Govinda dance numbers
For Akshay, I would select Yeh Dil Tujh Pe Aa Gaya in Aitraaz which has him doing some wild acrobats with Priyanka Chopra and the dancers, while I simply love Meri marzi with Govinda. It's funky, spicy and very happening. I also love Sarkai lo khatiya. It had so much mirch masala!

Best female dancing partners for Akshay and Govinda
For Akshay it would be Priyanka, especially after Aitraaz. The way they danced together was great. With Govinda I would pair Karisma. Their chemistry, timing and repartee on screen was amazing.

A dance I would love to see them perform
Akshay and Govinda in Pyar Ka Signal. It's quite a tapori song and has all three of us.

One movie she wishes she had done with them
Aitraaz with Akshay. I really loved Priyanka's character and way she was presented in film. With Govinda, I would love to do Coolie No 1 as it was extremely funny.

That's so difficult! I would give them anywhere between 8 and 10. I am being stingy because I am very bad at rating and it's mean of you to ask me. They should rate me instead!
