Hers
debut
was
one
that
dreams
are
made
of.
Amisha
Patel's
arrival
was
marked
with
the
blockbuster
hit
Kaho
Naa
Pyaar
Hai.
Although
there
were
a
couple
of
forgettable
flicks
after
that,
she
bounced
back
with
Gadar.
Even
today
she
continues
to
make
waves
with
her
sweet
girl
next
door
roles.
She
will
soon
be
seen
in
Harry
Baweja's
Teesri
Aankh.
And
like
she
told
us
herself
that
her
producer
thought
she
was
the
best
choice
for
the
role,
since
she
fit
the
bechari
bill,
perfectly!
How
did
you
bag
the
role
in
Teesri
Aankh?
My
producer
cum
director
wanted
someone
who
had
a
'bechari'
look
along
with
being
glamorous.
He
wanted
the
no
makeup
look.
He
also
wanted
someone
who
could
give
time
to
tuitions,
as
I
play
a
mute
girl
in
the
film.
I
had
to
learn
sign
language.
My
tuition
teacher
Sangita
is
the
same
person
who
trained
Rani
for
Black.
People
appreciated
my
no
make
up
look
in
Gadar
and
Mangal
Pandey.
Did
you
find
it
challenging
to
play
the
role
of
a
mute
girl?
Whenever
an
artist
has
to
do
something
different,
it
is
a
challenge.
A
challenge
is
always
difficult.
In
order
to
take
up
the
challenge,
one
has
to
work
hard.
I
had
signed
Gadar
as
a
challenge.
That
time
Kaho
Naa
Pyaar
Hai
had
not
even
released.
Only
50
percent
of
the
shooting
was
complete.
Then
people
told
me
not
to
do
Humraaz
because
it
had
negative
shades.
However,
I
even
took
that
up
as
a
challenge.
A
film
like
Teesri
Aankh
has
a
strong
social
message.
People
are
facing
a
lot
of
problems
because
of
developments
in
technology.
So
we
have
made
a
film
dealing
with
this
issue.
So
when
I
got
this
opportunity,
I
made
sure
that
I
made
the
best
of
it.
Tell
us
about
your
co-stars.
This
film
has
my
favorite
actor,
Sunny
Deol!
Everyone
has
seen
my
chemistry
with
him
in
Gadar.
I
think
Sunny
is
like
the
bottle
of
wine,
which
just
becomes
better
with
age.
I
am
working
with
him
after
a
gap
of
four
years
but
I
think
he
looked
more
handsome
and
more
talented
now!
Our
equation
was
just
like
it
was
during
Gadar.
We
had
a
lot
of
fun
on
the
sets.
This
was
my
first
film
with
actors
like
Aarti
Chhabria,
Neha
Dhupia
and
Ashish
Choudhary.
It
was
a
great
experience
because
they
were
all
very
co-operative.
I
play
the
role
of
a
mute
person.
They
had
to
figure
from
my
hand
gestures
what
I
was
about
to
say
next.
They
worked
very
patiently
with
me.
I
told
them
that
this
is
something
new
for
me.
They
all
helped
me
and
we
were
able
to
complete
the
film
on
time.
The
film
is
based
on
the
theme
of
hidden
cameras.
What
do
you
feel
about
this
issue?
I
personally
feel
that
the
concept
of
a
hidden
camera
is
very
bad.
It
is
very
wrong
to
intrude
in
someone's
private
lives.
People
who
circulate
MMSs
and
other
video
clips
should
realize
that
one
day
the
camera
could
be
on
them.
So
they
should
think
before
indulging
in
such
acts.
