Abhishek Bachchan, son of the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actress Jaya Bachchan was born on 5th Febuary, 1976. He has a sister Shweta Nanda by name.

Abhishek did his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School, Bombay Scottish School, Modern School (New Delhi) and later attended Aiglon College in Switzerland. Though he went to the United States to complete his education at Boston University, he did not complete his business degree as he chose to pursue an acting career instead. His grandfather, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was a renowned poet of Urdu and Hindi.
