"Mujhe yakeen nahin ho raha ki main aapke saamne hoon," a die hard fan said at the Meet-n-Greet Akshay Kumar get together organized as a part of Namastey London contest on Bollywood's No. 1 website IndiaFM.com at J W Marriott in Mumbai this weekend. "Aap mere pass aa sakte hain, mujhe choo sakte hain...chahe to aap mujhe kaat sakte hain," Khiladi Kumar replied amidst roaring laughter from a hall full of Akshay fans. He was accompanied by Namastey London director Vipul Shah and was warmly welcomed by the co-founder of IndiaFM Mr. Suleman Mobhani.

Looking dashing in a black suit, gelled hair and a pleasing demeanour, the superstar answered queries from his fans with humility, candour and displayed a good taste. On being asked if he wouldn't have been an actor, he said, "I would have been a struggling actor watching Shahrukh Khan movies." Name a few films that he has liked apart from his own films in recent times? "It has to be Rang De Basanti....Hmmmm....that's about it." His plans for son Aarav and can the son ever fit into father's shoes? "I have no plans for Aarav as of now. My shoe size is 12. Maybe he wouldn't be able to fit into my shoes." And what will he be called...Aarav Kumar? "No...His name is Aarav Hariom Bhatia...My father's name was Hariom Bhatia," Akshay said (remember his real name is Rajeev Bhatia).

There were interesting questions posed by common folks with the dexterity of trained journalists. Sample this: Off late you've been seen more in comedy films and less of action films. Why? "Every person's stress levels have risen. People want to be entertained, that's why people like watching comedy films more. I want to do action films. I will do a big action film soon." What about allegations that you cut other actor's roles in your films? "It's upto you if you wish to trust it. If I cut anyone's role that should be making a very powerful man. More powerful than the director or the producer." What is your motto in life? "I've always believed in my parents more than God even. I would say please take care of your parents and your family." Your favourite heroines? "Are the ones I am currently working with...Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan."

Akshay later posed for photographs with his fans. And as he left there was an air of excitement surrounding many faces that were resplendent with joy at having met a huge star who is not easily accessible to media and the public in general. But IndiaFM made it possible.
