If perfection is the word spoken in Bollywood the synonym would have to be Aamir Khan. No other actor in the industry portrays their character with as much perfection as Aamir. Be it Bhuvan in Lagaan or DJ in Rang De Basanti, the actor has always entertained the viewers. The perfectionist attitude of Aamir can be very well understood from the fact that he has acted only in five movies after his Oscars nominated Lagaan in 2001. The role of the historical character Mangal Pandey played by him in the movie Mangal Pandey - The Rising deserves to be appreciated. The movie took almost four years to be completed and the image of the actor with his long hair and moustache still reminds the audience of his involvement in the character.
These days the actor is busy shooting for his upcoming Taare Zameen Pe which is his home production. The film which has been scripted by Amol Gupta is also being directed by him. The movie will be for the kids. The actor says its sad that very few movies in India are made for children although they are an important audience. The music for the movie will be composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. This will be followed by a movie titled Ghajini which is a remake of the original movie of the same title made in Telugu and Tamil. There are rumours that the title of the movie might be altered. Another film that is on hand is the Mani Ratnam directed Lajjo which is in the preproduction process.
The actor's die hard fans can be rest assured that there are lots coming their way and three movies in a row is a lot as far as the perfectionist is concerned.
