Are
you
a
gizmo
freak?
I
wouldn't
call
myself
that,
though
I
think
gadgets
and
gizmos
are
a
necessity
today
more
than
a
luxury.
Like
cell
phones
et
al.
What
are
the
essential
gizmos
that
you
possess?
The
usual
cell
phone,
I
pod,
DVD
player
etc.
I
recently
bought
a
laptop.
Which
is
your
latest
priced
possession?
It
my
new
Lenovo-Y
300
laptop.
It
has
a
webcam.
It's
sleek
and
is
of
the
usual
silver
and
black
colour.
Do
you
think
gadgets
have
made
our
lives
simpler?
Simpler
in
a
way
and
also
somewhat
complicated
too.
Now
because
of
mobiles
you
are
24
hours
accessible.
You
are
also
constantly
on
your
email.
There
is
no
respite
from
the
whole
thing.
Which
is
the
one
discovery
(in
gadgets)
without
which
you
think
life
would
have
been
impossible?
Not
impossible
as
such.
In
the
past
when
there
were
no
gizmos,
life
still
went
on.
Even
now,
what
if
you
had
to
go
to
the
Himalayas?
The
thing
is
that
now
we
have
become
more
used
to
them.
Where
do
you
access
your
email
-on
your
phone
or
on
the
laptop?
On
my
new
laptop.
Would
you
like
to
call
yourself
techno
savvy?
How
important
is
it
to
be
techno
savvy
in
today's
world?
Techno
savvy
would
be
the
right
word
for
me.
I
am
not
a
techno
freak
but
yes
I
am
techno
savvy.
It's
important
to
be
so
since
it
helps
you
to
stay
connected.
Life
has
become
more
public
now.
It's
like
sharing
space.
Like
at
the
moment
I
am
in
Goa
but
am
still
connected
with
the
rest
of
the
world.
There
are
a
lot
of
complicated
gadgets,
and
they
are
expensive
too.
What
do
you
have
to
say
about
them?
I
don't
think
they
are
really
very
complicated.
The
laptops,
cell
phones
are
not
so
hard
to
operate
and
even
kids
can
use
them.
Do
you
think
the
whopping
prize
tag
a
gadget
has
today
in
the
market
is
justified?
I
can't
say
much
about
this.
It
all
depends
on
the
product.
However
there
is
a
feeling
the
prices
of
computer
software
could
go
down.
Cell
phone
prices
also
come
down
at
times.
The
modern
Gadgets
in
the
market
have
made
us
literally
dependent
on
them.
Comment
on
the
same?
Yes,
that's
true.
For
example
we
have
got
so
used
to
our
mobile
phones
that
we
can't
do
without
them.
Where
do
you
usually
buy
your
gadgets
and
gizmos
from?
Any
suggestions
for
our
readers...
There
is
no
specific
place
as
such.
Some
of
my
gadgets,
I
have
picked
up
from
the
UK.
I
have
picked
up
my
laptop
from
the
Lenovo
showroom
in
India.
So
there
are
various
places.
