Meghna Gulzar's Just Married is surely very special to Perizaad Zorabian as this will be her first release after her marriage. Perizaad finds a close similarity to her role and that's why she enjoyed doing it.

Recently married to a Mumbai based real estate developer Boman Irani, Perizaad is back to work. She plays the role of Anu who is married to Rishab, the perfect couple of Just Married. Speaking about the film she says, "This is my first film to release after my marriage. Fortunately, my debut film Bollywood Calling was also produced by Pritish Nandy then Mumbai Matinee was again a PNC movie and now my first film after marriage is again by PNC. It's a great coincidence. I am playing a girl who is emotionally very transparent. She is very passionate. I think there are a lot of similarities between me and my character in Just Married.

Perizaad was not the original choice for Just Married and joined at the last minute before the shooting. Speaking about the same she says, "Yes, I wasn't the original choice for the role and I came in at the last minute. I came in picture when the unit was on location and the actor backed out. I got a call from Ronjita at 12 pm and she said, "Just do this for me". Next day I was on the set, shooting a climax scene with out any script. I was wondering what I will do in the film of Esha and Fardeen. But I owe PNC a lot. I owe them a great launch like Bollywood Calling."

Perizaad is very excited about this film especially because she too has Just Married in her personal life. Has life changed after marriage? She quickly replies, "Marriage has provided a kind of stability, rather it has settled me emotionally. There's so much bonding, love and trust in marriage. It's a wonderful thing that happened in my life."

Speaking about Boman she says, "My husband is a private person and he doesn't want to be in fame of this glam world. He is very supportive husband and respects me a lot. For him I am not a glam doll."

Perizaad aims for different kind of roles. She says, "I would like to cast against my type. I want to do those roles that are not expected from me and such roles would be a challenge for me. My forthcoming movie Kabhi Up Kabhi Down is a romantic comedy. It's a story of an actress who kidnaps her director. Then there is N. Chandra's Breaking News where I play a very aggressive television executive producer." she concludes.
