A glimpse of Saawariya's sets

Set designers Omung and Vanita give a glimpse of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya.

The protagonist"s house strangely has a tree in the middle of it. Built like an old Christian house with wooden flooring, the curtains are all hand- painted, which is a theme that runs through the entire look of Saawariya.

A lonesome lady walks on the cobbled streets, across the bridge in a deserted town — Saawariya survives on its surreal appeal.

Everything in Saawariya is a set. Parts of this town were built in Karjat. Entire walls, boats, curtains were hand-painted with Indian motifs like peacocks and lotuses
