"Vivah
has
been
the
kind
of
film
that
has
grown
with
every
passing
week.
I'm
in
awe
of
Mr
Sooraj
Barjatya
for
the
kind
of
loyalty
he
has
when
it
comes
to
his
audience," says
chocolate
delight
Shahid
Kapoor
who
is
still
basking
in
the
glorious
success
of
Rajshri's
saccharine
sweet
film
Vivah
that
continues
to
set
box
office
records.
"In
times
like
today
when
films
run
in
first
four
or
five
days
and
almost
all
the
business
is
done,
there
comes
a
film
like
Vivah
that
has
completed
its
silver
jubilee
and
is
still
running
in
theatres.
I
consider
myself
very
fortunate
to
be
a
part
of
such
a
project
and
to
get
an
opportunity
to
work
with
somebody
who
is
so
good
at
what
he
does
so
early
in
my
career,"
Shahid
added.
It's
been
quite
a
while
since
his
last
release.
In
the
interim
period,
Kapoor
didn't
go
on
a
signing
spree.
He
has
been
weighing
all
his
options
and
opting
for
projects
that
shall
take
him
forward.
After
almost
a
year
he
is
ready
with
a
big
commercial
film
having
a
big
star-cast...Fool
N
Final.
"It's
a
fun
film.
It's
a
no
brainer.
It's
not
a
heavy
film.
It's
not
gonna
burden
you
down.
After
watching
this
film
you'll
have
a
smile
on
your
face.
It's
a
fun
roller
coaster
ride.
And
that's
the
USP
of
the
film," Shahid
says
with
a
smile.
What
about
the
huge
star-cast...Sunny,
Viveik,
Jackie,
Ayesha
Takia,
Sameera
Reddy,
Chunky
Pandey,
Suresh
Menon,
Johny
Lever
and
Paresh
rawal?
"It's
a
huge
star-cast.
I
had
a
few
scenes
with
Sunny
Sir
and
it
was
a
privilege
to
work
with
him.
I
had
only
one
scene
with
Viveik.
But
he
is
also
a
wonderful
guy.
I'm
sure
we'll
get
an
opportunity
to
do
more
work
in
the
future." And
what
about
Ayesha
Takia
with
whom
you've
worked
before?
"Ayesha
and
me
have
worked
before.
This
is
our
second
film.
There
is
a
great
comfort
level.
She
is
a
very
good
artiste,
very
chilled
out
on
the
sets.
Good
fun."
The
promos
of
Fool
N
Final
are
already
creating
waves.
It's
not
the
typical
Himesh
Reshammiya
brand
of
music
but
yet,
the
songs
are
getting
noticed.
And
Shahid
seems
to
be
the
mainstay.
And
with
choreographer
Ahmed
Khan
turning
director,
the
dance
sequences
are
worth
club
hopping.
So,
why
don't
you
tell
us
something
about
what
you
are
doing
in
the
film?
"My
character
is
called
Raja.
He
is
a
thief
who
does
stray
robberies
here
and
there
and
how
finally
he
gets
engrossed
in
this
chase
for
this
one
big
diamond.
There
is
lots
of
action
in
the
film.
There's
no
bloodshed,
no
gruesome
scenes,
it's
all
glamourised.
It's
all
action
that
is
eye
pleasing,
lots
of
stuff
like
jumping
off
the
16th
floor
of
a
building
and
stuff
like
that,"
Shahid
said.
There's
a
lot
of
talk
about
that
breathtaking
bicycle
twirl
that
you've
done.
"It
was
first
for
me.
I
don't
like
heights
so
it
was
different
for
me.
The
director
(Ahmed
Khan)
is
a
dear
friend
so
I
trusted
him
completely.
Allan
Amin
is
somebody
I've
worked
with
many
times
as
an
action
director.
He
is
as
safe
as
it
gets
while
doing
stunts."
After
Spiderman,
it's
time
for
Superman.
That
Superman
get-up
is
gaining
attention.
"It's
a
film
for
all
kinds
of
audiences.
The
director
felt
that
we
should
be
having
something
for
children
and
he
thought
that
the
children
love
superheroes
so
he
thought
that
if
we
can
dress
up
like
superheroes
and
try
to
save
the
world,
and
end
up
making
fool
of
ourselves.
It's
a
comic
sequence,"
Shahid
said.
Sooraj
Barjatya
had
taken
a
risk
by
not
giving
any
dance
sequences
to
Shahid
(a
trained
dancer)
in
Vivah.
In
Fool
N
Final,
lot
of
dancing
seems
to
be
happening.
"The
director
has
been
a
choreographer
all
these
years
so
you
can
expect
dancing."
And
what's
your
favourite
track?
"Shakira
Ve
would
be
my
choice."
There's
a
lot
of
buzz
about
Mike
Tyson
making
an
appearance
in
Fool
N
Final.
Did
you
happen
to
meet
him?
"I
didn't
get
an
opportunity
to
meet
Mike
Tyson."
Finally,
what
are
you
doing
next?
"There's
a
film
with
Kareena,
a
love
story
directed
by
Imtiaz
Ali.
There's
a
romantic
comedy
with
Vidya
Balan,
directed
by
Aziz
Mirza.
And
there's
a
film
by
Bela
Sehgal,
produced
by
Sanjay
Bhansali."
That
was
Shahid
Kapoor.
Honest
and
forthright.
No
big
boasting.
Just
plainspeak...let
the
work
speak
for
itself.
So,
will
Fool
N
Final
add
to
Shahid's
tally
of
success....come
this
Friday....And
you
shall
get
to
know..
