We spoke to her to know about her new film, her music video and more.
How
do
you
react
on
being
the
undisputed
queen
of
internet
wallpapers?
It's
a
huge
compliment.
I
am
happy
that
I
have
got
well
wishers
out
there
who
not
only
like
the
way
I
speak
but
also
like
my
face.
It's
a
very
positive
sign.
You
seem
to
be
very
confident
about
your
bold
image.
Aren't
you
apologetic
about
it
at
all?
No
way,
because
I
feel
I
would
have
to
be
totally
insane
to
believe
that
being
sexual
or
being
a
bikini
clad
girl
could
ever
be
a
threat
to
my
histrionics
or
my
acting
talents.
How
was
your
experience
doing
Red
Swastik?
It
was
good.
For
once
I
felt
that
I
wasn't
just
exposing
my
assets
but
also
I
felt
that
I
was
acting,
because
of
the
lines
given
to
me
and
the
kind
of
character
that
I
portray
got
immense
intensity
to
it.
It's
got
huge
shades
of
gray.
So playing a complex character is not a child's play and I enjoyed doing this. I have begun to realize that I have a liking for characters which have got shades of gray. Playing black and white is not a fun anymore. You get to play around, you can have fun, go all out, and you can experiment with complex characters.
Your
character
in
Red
Swastika
is
apparently
inspired
by
Charlize
Theron's
character
in
Monster.
I
saw
the
film
Monster
and
the
film
apparently
got
Charlize
an
academy
award
in
Oscar.
I
don't
expect
that
to
happen
to
me
because
people
here
have
fixed
mentalities.
If
not
an
award,
then
least
I
could
expect
a
critical
acclaim.
And
I
hope
all
those
people
who
think
of
me
as
a
wallpaper
girl
or
whatever
they
would
definitely
take
back
there
words
and
be
generous
enough
with
their
compliments.
Because
I
believe
that
this
would
definitely
put
me
in
a
different
league
and
people
would
definitely
shut
up
and
just
take
notice
of
my
histrionics,
my
acting
and
they
would
want
to
believe
that
yes
I
am
blessed.
What
is
this
blessed?
I
love
this
word.
It's
such
a
meaningful
and
intense
word.
For
me
the
meaning
has
to
be
tangible
and
intangible.
When
I
say
tangible
intangible
I
mean
to
say
one
has
to
be
blessed
superficially
in
terms
of
looks,
appearance,
the
waist,
the
hips
and
deep
inside
as
well.
You
can't
have
a
great
body
that
is
shallow
deep
inside
and
I
strongly
believe
that
deep
inside
I
have
got
this
huge
spring
of
talent
that
is
desperately
trying
to
get
out.
I just hope I find out directors who could tab that talent, that fire deep inside and show the world the best side of me.
