There
is
a
myth
in
Bollywood
that
only
the
three
Khans
along
with
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Akshay
Kumar
can
ensure
box
office
success.
However
the
recent
successful
run
of
Mithya
has
broken
this
myth
and
once
again
proved
that
good
acting
and
screenplay
is
still
appreciated
by
the
audience.
Mithya
worked
because
the
movie
was
a
one
of
its
kind
and
held
the
audience
with
its
unpredictable
story
line.
Mithya
followed
Rajat
Kapoor's
successful
Bheja
Fry.
The
critics
gave
it
high
rating
and
the
audience
loved
it.
Rajat
decided
on
the
star
cast
based
on
their
acting
talent
and
not
on
the
renumeration.
Ranvir
Shorey
plays
a
dreamy
man
falling
a
pawn
to
Naseeruddin
Shah
a
gangster.
Vinay
Patkah
and
Neha
Dhupia
played
their
supporting
role
to
perfection.
Ranbir
Shorey
gave
the
performance
of
his
life
and
proved
his
worth
in
non
comic
roles.
On
a
whole
Mithya
had
the
courage
to
tell
a
story
unlike
any
other
movie
It
is
not
surprising
that
the
movie
has
already
netted
close
to
3
crores
in
its
first
week
of
run
which
is
commendable
for
a
movie
made
in
a
budget
under
that
amount.
The
movie
is
still
doing
well
despite
the
release
of
Jodhaa
Akbar.
Hats
off
to
Rajat
Kapoor
for
taking
Bollywood
beyond
the
stereotypes.
