Celebrities galore at Amrita-Shakeel wedding

Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladak exchanged rings yesterday at a Bandra restaurant. It was a wedding where the stars shone in the afternoon at Olive, Bandra. Champagne gowns, tuxes and suits and the guests danced about but the day clearly belonged to Amrita and her husband Shakeel.

Of course, some invitees didn't show up: Shahrukh Khan (for obvious reasons Salman Khan was there) but SRK's wife Gauri more than made up for his absence. Another familiar face and Amrita's Kambakht Ishq co-star Akshay Kumar; his wife Twinkle was missing in action.

Amrita's bridesmaid and best friend Kareena Kapoor was the first to come and the last to leave. Saif Ali Khan was seen holding Kareena very close as if to say 'Marry me right here, right now, Bebo'.

Some of the other attendees included Katrina Kaif, Aftab Shivdasani minus Aamna Shariff, Dino Morea minus Lara Dutta, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Sajid and Wardha Nadiadwala and Wendell Rodericks among others. Wardha and Karisma Kapoor almost didn't make it to Amrita's wedding as both the zippers of their gowns came unstuck just when they were about to leave home.

Fortunately, fresh zips were sent and attached before they had to change their outfits though they reached late after the wedding was over.
