Paa highlight: Amitabh as 13-years-old boy

The much-hyped film Paa produced by AB Corps Ltd and directed by R Balakrishnan aka Balki is releasing the morrow (December 4). The film has Abhishek Bachchan playing the father of his dad Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan plays Amitabh's mother.

Paa is not like other regular films that have extremely good-looking couple running around the trees. It tells the story of a witty and intelligent 13-year-old boy Auro (Amitabh Bachchan). He suffers from progeria, a rare genetic disorder that shows signs of ageing at a very young age.

The story of the film revolves around Auro and his father Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan), who is a politician. He is all out to prove to the world that politics is not as bad as one presumes. Auro lives with his mother Vidhya (Vidya Balan).

The highlight of the film is Amitabh Bachchan. He has grown younger with age. Well, we are talking about his role in Paa. He plays a 13-year-old-boy at 67. The posters of the film with him on his son Abhishek's back caused lots of curiosity amongst the public.

The film is crucial for the Bachchan family, as it marks the revival of its home banner ABCL after kissing the dust a decade ago. Abhishek has taken keen interest in regaining the past glory. Aishwarya Bachchan too has chipped in to make sure that it makes a good opening. She is taking care of its marketing.

One surprise element of the film is the title song being sung by Amitabh Bachchan himself and that too in a child-like voice. The track was composed by South Indian music maestro Ilaiyaraja.
