Aisha highlights: Sonam's show

Bollywood has witnessed more flops than hits this year yet the success of films like I Hate Luv Storys and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai last month has thrown in some ray of hope. And now, all eyes are on the film Aisha, which has been in the news for quite sometime. It features Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles.

Aisha is a modern day adaptation of the British novel, Emma by Jane Austen. It is about a girl who thinks everyone's business is her business. She makes sure everyone acts according to her dictates. Then emerges a boy, who tries to get her out of the mess. Who succeeds and who fails form the rest of the story.

The highlight of Aisha is certainly Sonam Kapoor. Her first two films Sawaariya and Delhi-6 stumbled at the box office but her third film I Hate Luv Storys has given her a new lease of life. Today, she looks sensuous and confident. Most important, she is daring and ready to bare. She has come a long way since she debut in Bollywood about three years ago.

One of the highlights of the film is the kiss between Abhay Deol and Sonam. It is reported that the duo share a passionate lip lock in the film. Abhay Deol had earlier kissed a few actresses on screen but he claimed that Sonam was the best kisser. It will be a treat for their fans to see them kissing on screen.

Rhea Kapoor, younger daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, may be young and have the looks of a celebrity but she has everything that takes to become a big filmmaker. She has given lots of publicity to Aisha by just producing it. God knows the kind of publicity she would bring about if she acts in the film.

Aisha, directed by Rajshree Ojha, also features Arunoday Singh and Cyrus Sahukar in vital roles. It is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow, August 6. Watch out guys!
