Most celebrated Bollywood stars' marriages in 2011

The year 2011 has been a very fortunate year for several Bollywood stars as it brought marriage bliss in their life. B-Town celebrities like Imran Khan, Lara Dutta, Gul Panag, Anurag Kashyap, Celina Jaitley, Nikhil Dwivedi and few others got hitched with their loved-ones at grand wedding ceremonies in this year.

Actor Imran Khan got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Avantika Malik on 16 January, 2010, in the farm house of Avantika"s family in Karjat near Navi Mumbai. They tied the knot on 10th January, 2011 at a private civil ceremony at Aamir Khan"s home in Pali Hill, Mumbai.

Actress Lara Dutta, who earlier dated New York Yankees player Derek Jeter, got engaged to Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi in September 2010. They married on February 16, 2011, in a civil ceremony, in Bandra and later followed by a Christian ceremony on 20 February, 2011, at Sunset Point in Goa. On 1 August, 2011, the B-Town star confirmed that she is pregnant with their first child.

Gul Panag got married to her long time boyfriend Rishi Attari in a traditional Punjabi Sikh ceremony at a Gurudwara in Chandigarh on March 13, 2011. It was a hush! hush! marriage and the guest list was restricted to close friends and family. Many Bollywood stars were unaware of her marriage.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap got hitched with actress Kalki Koechlin on April 30, 2011, in a private wedding ceremony in Ooty. The two had been dating each other since the release of Dev D. Following Dev D, the two associated in That Girl in Yellow Boots again.

Actress Celina Jaitley announced her engagement with Dubai-based Austrian businessman, hotelier and marketeer, Peter Haag in January 2011. They married at a thousand year old monastery in Austria on 23 July, 2011. Now, she is pregnant with twins due in April 2012.

Nikhil Dwivedi recently tied the knot with model Gauri Pandit. They had a small intimate ceremony held in early 2011. The wedding reception was a star-studded event with the guest list including renowned actors such as Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and Sonu Sood.

However, rumours were also doing rounds about the most celebrated couples like Kareena Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia D"Souza. But they could not take place this year. Sources claim that their marriages will be held in early 2012.
