Had just met Dev Saheb at his premiere recently .. he was weak but full of spirit ..the news papers confirming his passing away..sad. As tv channels play back his glorious moments ..his songs and the music that identified Dev Anand, you realize what an ear he had !! There was never a worry in his mind ever. The only time I saw him break down was at funeral pyre of his elder brother Chetan Anand !

Abhishek Bachchan
Shocked to read of the passing of Dev Saab. Such a great man and actor. A symbol of positivity. Never believed I would ever wake up to this news. Very sad! He wasn't 88. He'd turned 22 for the 4th time.

My father had worked with Dev Saab for over 10 years, so I grew up hearing about the legendary actor. When I first met him as a child, my father asked me to touch his feet. I still remember Dev Saab looked at me and said, "Never bend son. Shake my hand... you're a gentleman just like me!" I was all of eight, but I can never erase the dynamism of DEV ANAND. Legends don't die... they just exit the present leaving behind a past that the future can embibe!!

Aamir Khan
