Kareena Kapoor wants to be like Meryl Streep

Kareena Kapoor is facing problems with producers being reluctant to sign her for projects in 2012 since rumours of her marriage with Saif Ali Khan next year is doing the rounds.

While Kareena is not in a mood to talk about marriage since her boyfriend Saif is still mourning the death of his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, she fails to understand why her marriage should effect her career in Bollywood. Kareena, whose entire family has dedicated their life to Bollywood said that she will not give up acting even after her marriage and said that she will act till she lives.

Speaking about her passion for acting, Kareena Kapoor said, “For me acting is like air, food and water an essential ingredient." Bebo wants to do more strong and performance oriented films like Meryl Streep from next year. Being a great fan of Meryl Streep, Kareena wants to do films like The Devil Wears Prada, Bridges of Madison County and Mama Mia.

Elaborating on her plans to act, Kareena Kapoor said, “I think age or marital status can never be a deterrent for an actor. The only thing that one needs is passion. Like I said, acting is like the air I breathe. Its that essential.''
