Murder 2, Delhi Belly will rule theatres this weekend

While Delhi Belly took a lead over Amitabh Bachchan starrer Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap last weekend, looks like in the coming weekend Murder 2 will takeover the playground from Chillar Party. Ironically, both the films are entirely opposite to each other, while one is an adult film, other is an out and out children's film. However, this doesn't give a sigh of relief to Salman Khan's Chillar Party.

Meanwhile, looking at the trends of the Box Office, Murder 2 is sure to take a toll on Chillar Party. Adult films, be it romantic or comedy (ex, Delhi Belly), are leading the race as compared to children's films like Stanley Ka Dabba, which failed to attract eyeballs even after getting rave reviews.

Chillar Party looks promising with a huge human interest angle, which will draw kids and 'serious film' viewers. The film may also see some of the seat reservations from the huge fan base of actor Salman Khan, who is the producer of the film and actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has done a promotional video for the same.

However the largest section of the audience, the youngsters and paisa vasool adult viewers, will prefer Murder 2. The film comes with a brand value from the Murder franchise and more over promises some steamy watch with great content. The acting of Emraan Hashmi and the sensuousness of Jacqueline Fernandez will also manage to drag in some eyeballs to the film.

Apparently it should be noted that Delhi Belly has not yet lost its charm. The film will also see a huge amount of footfalls in its second opening weekend. The hype for Delhi Belly is yet a new challenge for Bhatt's Murder 2. Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap will again have some of the dedicated viewers, fans of superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
