With
the
growing
excitement
on
Salman
Khan-Kareena
Kapoor
starrer
film
Bodyguard,
which
resumes
its
shooting
today,
we
at
Oneindia
bring
you
the
direct
feel
of
the
shooting
straight
from
the
sets.
Students
of
Symbiosis
International
University,
Lavale
campus
had
a
merry
time
during
the
past
couple
of
weeks
as
they
followed
their
favourite
Bollywood
stars
while
they
shot
for
a
movie
around
the
campus.
It
all
started
when
strange
people
who
had
ID
cards
around
their
neck
that
said
“Reel
Life
Productions
Pvt.
Ltd" started
unloading
truckloads
of
fancy
equipment
and
attire
at
various
placed
on
the
hilltop
campus.
Word
got
around
quickly,
that
a
movie
shoot
was
scheduled
to
take
place
on
our
campus.
Further
enquiry
revealed
that
the
flick
was
a
Salman
Khan,
Kareena
Kapoor
starrer
called
Bodyguard.
The
shoot
was
supposed
to
continue
for
at
least
2
weeks
which
includes
shooting
in
our
classrooms,
auditorium,
assembly
hall,
corridors,
main
entrance
and
of
course
the
playing
grounds.
Day
after
day,
hundreds
of
these
strange
people
or
as
they
call
themselves,
“shooting
crew"
crowded
all
around
campus.
These
included
the
production
staff,
junior
artists,
support
staff,
the
actors,
their
personal
staff
and
some
other
categories
of
staff
I
am
aware
of.
In
their
attempt
to
keep
students
from
hindering
the
shooting,
the
bodyguards
of
the
Bodyguard
crew
would
stop
them
at
random,
make
them
wait
until
the
director
shouted
cut
over
the
radio.
Sometimes,
the
star-struck
students
complied.
At
other
times,
ironically
they
took
detours
or
argued
their
way
into
classrooms!
Informal
mini
competitions
were
held
on
a
daily
basis
to
get
the
best
amateur
shot
of
the
Bollywood
stars
on
campus
which
included
Atul
Agnihotri,
co-producer
of
Bodyguard
and
a
well-known
name
on
the
Bollywood
circuits.
Salman
Khan
and
Kareena
Kapoor
were
everywhere;
even
professors
couldn"t
resist
mentioning
them
at
least
once
during
their
lectures.
Students
couldn"t
stop
showing
off
their
good
fortune
and
bad
photography
skills
as
they
posted
amateur
shots
of
the
stars
on
social
networking
websites,
making
their
off
campus
friends
turn
green
with
envy.
Sadly
however,
no
classes
were
cancelled
on
account
of
the
ongoing
shooting.
Sometimes
conducting
classes
with
all
the
commotion
and
the
extremely
attractive
junior
artists
outside,
posing
to
be
reel
life
fellow
students
in
Kareena"s
reel
life
College,
seemed
like
a
futile
exercise.
For
now,
the
shoot
has
been
adjourned
in
the
light
of
Kareena
Kapoor"s
ill
health
and
Filmfare
awards.
The
shoot
is
supposed
to
resume
from
the
1st
of
Feb
and
this
time,
to
the
delight
of
all
the
male
students
the
shooting
will
be
done
inside
the
Boys
hostel.
