Sanjay Dutt's look in Agneepath is inspired by 'Apocalypse Now'

Actor Sanjay Dutt is playing villain Kancha Cheena in his latest movie Agneepath and his bald look in the movie has created lot of curiosity among the movie buffs. But the buzz is that Sanju baba's much-raved about getup has been inspired by Marlon Brando's Colonel Walter Kurtz in the 1979 Apocalypse Now.

Agneepath is a remake of 1990's classic movie and Danny Denzongpa had played villain Kancha Cheena, who had a nice hair style in it. But the latest version of the movie features Sanjay Dutt in bald avatar. Sanjay's new look is deadly and serious, which is best suited for the character of the villain in the film.

Talking about Sanjay Dutt's look in the film Agneepath, director Karan Malhotra has confirmed that he had Marlon Brando's image at the back of his mind. "I must admit that I'm in awe of that look for sure, but Sanju sir has taken the next step forward," the Mid-Day quotes the director as saying.

However, Marlon Brando was not donning earrings in Apocalypse Now. Whereas Agneepath features earring in the left ear of Sanjay Dutt. Talking about it, Karan Malhotra gushed that he himself had thought of them while creating the character of Kancha Cheena. The director is very happy that because the actor is going by the graph of his character and the movie.
