Actress Trisha Krishnan is the next celebrity to shoot a new ad-campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The actress is urging people to be an angel and adopt a homeless dog. Trisha appears in the ad holding a homeless dog named Bambi. Trisha flashes a cute sparking smile, which will make people believe in what she says.

Being a puppy on the street, Bambi was tormented and mobbed by schoolboys, before it was rescued by a passing motorist. Trisha in the ad encourages people to adopt a dog from an animal shelter or the streets. The ad was shot by ace photographer G Venket Ram. Trisha's ad for PETA was launched as a cover story in Galatta's June 2011 issue.

Trisha narrates the story of a dog named Cadbury and how she rescued her. She says, “I found him ... in Hyderabad while was shooting for a film, we were just driving past, and we saw this small little puppy who was wounded ... and he couldn't walk, and he was lying in the rain. There was no looking back he came back home with me ... and he is like the son I never had," (Bollywood Hungama).
