Udaan the ultimate winner at 56th Filmfare

While we hear the big shots in Bollywood full of praises for the 2010 film Udaan, it looks like this most deserving film got the right acclamation at the 56th Filmfare Awards 2010. Udaan swept away 7 black ladies and became the ultimate winner of the year 2010.

Though Dabangg, the biggest blockbuster of last year won the Best Film awards and in totally swept away 5 Filmfares by pleasing and entertaining the masses. Udaan however, bagged the Best Film Critis award for impressing and touching the hearts of the millions as well as the critics with its unique story line and screenplay.

Karan Johar very rightly said, “According to me, the film of last year was Udaan. It's a very special film. And what a tremendous debut by director Vikramaditya Motwane. We really need new talent in the industry and that's exactly what I'm doing in Student Of The Year."

Best Actor In Supporting Role (Male)- Ronit Roy
Best Story- Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane
Best Screenplay- Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap
Best Background Score- Amit Trivedi
Best Cinematography- Mahendra Shetty
Best Sound Design- Kunal Sharma
