Veena Malik poses for PETA's pro-vegetarian ads

Several stars like Lara Dutta, Shahid Kapoor, Pankaj Advani, Anil Kumble, Amrita Rao, R Madhavan, Murali Kartik, Rahul Sharma and Monica Dogra have starred in pro-vegetarian ads of the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Actress Veena Malik is the latest celebrity to join the PETA campaign.

Veena Malik has posed for the new PETA ad campaign, which marks a worldwide Vegetarian Awareness Month – October. Now, the Pakistani star is urging people to give up meat and turn vegetarian. The ad features her with a statement: “I am Veena Malik and I am a vegetarian."

The Bigg Boss contestant is very proud to be a part of PETA's pro-vegetarian ads. Veena Malik says, "Going vegetarian is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. I feel better, I'm healthier and I have the satisfaction of knowing that my food choices also help protect animals and the environment."

Veena Malik started her acting career with the Urdu movie Tere Pyar Mein and she shot to fame with her stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 4. The 27-year-old actress is making her debut in Bollywood with the movie Dal Mein Kuch Kala Hai. She is also doing an item number in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya.
