Vidya Balan's take on The Dirty Picture, Aamir and beau Siddharth Kapoor

Vidya Balan can pull off any role with aplomb. Whether it was her character as Lolita in Parineeta or Sabrina in No one killed Jessica, Vidya Balan completely justified her character in the film and carried off the role with absolute conviction. This is perhaps why the makers of Dirty Picture approached Vidya Balan to portray late actress Silk Smitha on-screen.

While Vidya's character in Dirty Picture is very different from her real life character, Vidya is very confident. Speaking to a leading newspaper, Vidya said that as an actor she wants to live the characters of different people through her films. Seeing these unconventional films as an opportunity to be grabbed, Vidya said, “I want people to come out after watching each and every film of mine and say, 'This is not the Vidya we know' or 'This is not the Vidya we saw last time'."

Vidya Balan sees Aamir Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra as actors and filmmakers who defy rules. She said that whenever she has to take a risky decision, she thinks of Aamir Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Speaking about her romantic relationship with filmmaker Siddharth Kapoor, Vidya Balan said that she was extremely happy with Siddharth. However, before signing off, she clearly stated that though she wanted to marry and become a bride, she was not married yet.
