Are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's eyes inexpressive?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is said to be blessed with the most beautiful pair of eyes. However, Italian historian Valerio Massimo Manfredi is of the opinion that Aishwarya's eyes in the Hollywood film The Last Legion did not express much.

Poems and songs have been crooned on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's blue eyes. But one celebrity who is not bowled over by Aishwarya's eyes is Valerio Massimo Manfredi. The film, The last Legion, starring Sir Ben Kingsley and Colin Firth among others is based on Valerio's story. According to the historian, though Aishwarya Rai has a beautiful pair of eyes, they were totally inexpressive and inappropriate for the part that was given to her.
