Aishwarya Rai-Vivek Oberoi, the worst on-screen jodi?

In Bollywood, pairing the right 'jodi' is extremely important for the success of a film. Whether it is Shahrukh Khan-Kajol, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai-Hrithik Roshan or Shahrukh Khan-Juhi Chawla, it cannot be denied that the chemistry of the lead actors is very essential for the audience to 'connect' and enjoy a film, especially if it is a romantic movie.

While it's easy to talk about the best on-screen jodis in Bollywood, it's difficult to point the jodis that don't work. Here are few of the famous pairs we think do not work. Share your thoughts with us...

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Vivek Oberoi: Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi, who starred in Kyun Ho Gaya Na was a total misfit. The duo lacked chemistry even though there was a hot kissing scene between Aishwarya and Vivek in the film.

Vidya Balan-Shahid Kapoor: Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor, who were paired opposite each other in Kismat Konnection looked a perfect mismatch when paired together! During the making of the film, it was being rumoured that Vidya and Shahid were seeing each other. Whether that's true or not, the duo couldn't ignite the screen with their chemistry!

Bipasha Basu-Ajay Devgn: Bipasha Basu and Ajay Devgn, who starred in Prakash Jha's film Apaharan disappointed the audience with the lack-lustre on-screen chemistry. Though Apaharan was appreciated by the critics, Ajay and Bipasha's jodi did not work at all.

Sanjay Dutt-Kajol: Dushman, directed by Tanuja Chandra had Kajol and Sanjay Dutt play the lead role. Though many scenes required a strong romantic chemistry between the duo, Dushman lacked chemistry between the couple.
