Late Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray, who was cremated on Sunday at Shivaji Park grounds, witnessed lakhs of people thronging on the streets of Mumbai, in order to have a last glimpse of the great personality. Several Bollywood stars too had gathered at the historic Shivaji Park ground to attend the last rites of Thackeray.

Several Bollywood personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Vinod Khanna, Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade had attended the funeral yesterday. The Shiv Sena chief died on Saturday afternoon, after a prolonged illness at the age of 86.

During Thackeray's illness, many Bollywood biggies like Sanjay Dutt, Rishi, Randhir Kapoor and many more made a beeline for Matoshree. Thackeray share a deep relationship with the Bollywood industry and have been great friends with legends like Dilip Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna.
