Bollywood congratulates new mother Shilpa Shetty

Actress Shilpa Shetty, who delivered a baby boy at Hinduja Hospital, in Mumbai this morning, has been flooded with congratulatory messages by her colleagues from Bollywood after her husband broke the news on his Twitter page. Several B-town celebrities took to their micro-blogging sites to wish the new mother.

Actress Bipasha Basu said, "TheShilpaShetty and Raj Congratulations on the birth of ur lil baby boy! So happy fr you both! Love! (sic)."

Actress Celina Jaitley tweeted, "Congratulations TheShilpaShetty and TheRajKundra on the birth of their baby boy... God bless the happy family! (sic)."

On her Twitter page, Sameera Reddy wrote, "It's a boy!! Congrats TheRajKundra & TheShilpaShetty! welcome to their little bundle of joy! hugs!"

Actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, "Congratulationnnssss TheShilpaShetty TheRajKundra on the arrival of the bundle of joy - lotsa love (sic)."

Actor Vivek Oberoi also took to Twitter to bless the baby and congratulate the couple. "Congratulations to TheShilpaShetty and TheRajKundra on the birth of their baby boy! God bless," he said.

Neil Nitin Mukesh said, "Yipee just got news that Shilpa and Raj have welcomed their new born sun. Yipeeeee loads of love to them both ! And kisses to the baby."

However, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been married for three years. The actress confirmed the news about her pregnancy in December 2011. They welcomed their first child in suburban Khar this morning. Ecstatic Kundra took to his Twitter account to share the news. He wrote, "God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits!!"
