The
countdown
for
Hrithik
Roshan's
Agneepath
has
begun.
With
less
than
10
days
for
its
release,
the
remake
of
the
yesteryear
classic
of
the
same
name
has
successfully
generated
the
hype
around
the
film
with
its
audio
tracks
and
trailers
that
have
added
fuel
to
the
expectation
of
the
audience.
Hrithik
Roshan
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
an
angry
young
man
named
Vijay
Deenanath
Chavan.
Being
the
son
of
a
schoolmaster,
Vijay
becomes
an
underworld
don,
who
seeks
revenge
against
Kancha
Cheena
played
by
Sanjay
Dutt
for
plotting
his
father's
death.
While
Priyanka
Chopra
plays
Hrithik
Roshan's
love
interest
named
Kaali
Gawde,
the
role
of
Krishnan
Iyer
MA
portrayed
by
Mithun
Chakraborty
in
the
original
has
been
removed
from
the
upcoming
movie.
Veteran
Rishi
Kapoor
enacts
the
character
of
drug
lord
Rauf
Lala.
As
far
as
the
audio
of
Agneepath
is
concerned,
songs
like
'Chikni
chameli...',
'Deva
shree
ganesha...',
'Shah
ka
rutba...,
and
'Abhi
mujh
mein
kahin...'
have
attracted
the
audience.
While
Laxmikant
Pyarelal
and
Jean
Michel
Jarre
composed
tracks
for
the
cult
classic,
Ajay-Atul
have
scored
the
music
for
the
latest
version
of
Agneepath.
It
may
be
recalled
that
the
original
film
made
on
Dharma
Productions
was
a
commercial
flop
movie
but
bagged
several
awards
for
the
performances
of
the
lead
stars
like
Amitabh
Bachchan,
Mithun
Chakraborty
and
Rohini
Hattangadi.
