well
at
the
Box
Office.
But,
things
went
low
for
these
two
movies
this
weekend,
after
the
death
of
Shiv
Sena
chief
Bal
Thackeray.
According
to
a
leading
daily,
cities
like
Pune,
Nasik,
Solapur,
Sangli,
Kolhapur,
Satara,
Nagpur
and
a
few
more
had
cancelled
the
movie
shows
due
to
Bal
Thackeray's
sudden
demise.
Thackeray
passed
away
on
Saturday,
due
to
which
the
city
came
to
a
standstill.
Reportedly,
this
proved
to
be
disastrous
for
both
the
films'
Box
Office
collection.
According
to
Mumbai
Mirror
reports,
both
the
films
have
approximately
incurred
a
loss
of
7:9
ratio,
over
the
weekend.
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan
has
raked
in
a
highest
ever
collection
for
a
Diwali
release
and
it
is
also
the
biggest
opener
for
SRK.
The
Shahrukh-Katrina-Anushka
has
collected
a
total
of
Rs
80.73
crores
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
country
in
the
six
day
extended
weekend.
On
the
other
hand,
Son
Of
Sardar
has
collected
Rs
66.02
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
six-day
extended
opening
weekend.
